We wish you a Happy Birthday (in the ER???)

We have been out of commission for the last month or so with various illnesses. My birthday was Monday the 22nd and I spent it in the ER with the one man that I would consider it  an  honor to spend my birthday in the ER with--my husband! My little Jammer was there with me in the ER for roughly 7 hours and was such a good little bug a boo!  I have taken random photos of Steven and James in the ER and the two I am posting kinda sum up the day. The last picture is of my three little men--just because!

It's Christmas Time!!!

The boys have been so super excited this year about Christmas!! They have been ready to decorate since  Halloween was over! The pictures of our tree are in the initial stages so I haven't had time to put down the tree skirt or for all of the branches to relax on the tree LOL I will post more pictures once I get the rest of the house decorated and everything finished!!

Sick

We have all been out of commission this past week. Steven pulled ligaments in both of his legs, Orion had a stomach virus Friday and this morning Ian woke up with it. I have the usual sinus crud but I am the healthiest of our crew so I have been trying to keep everyone functioning as much as possible. I will try to post some pics as soon as possible :-)

Time with MawMaw

Birthday Fun!!!

This Tuesday, November 9th, my sweet husband Steven and our little cousin Kerstin have a birthday! We decided to have a small family party at MawMaw's to celebrate the occasion. We all had a blast and wished we didn't have leave.

Fun in the Cold!

It has been quite cold this week and the boys LOVE it! Ian has been practicing "stunts" on the trampoline while Orion and James have been cruising in their old Jeep!

Happy Halloween!!!

I know this is late but wow this has been a whirlwind week! We had an amazing time on the coast at my mother in law and father in law's block party! The boys had an awesome time playing with Christian and Jackson and making new friends!! They LOVED trick or treating and the scavenger hunt but I have to say their favorite part was spending the night at MawMaw and PawPaw's house! They have been looking forward to Halloween with almost as much excitement as Christmas!

I think when we were younger we all cherished every moment with our grandparents. It is so precious to see how their eyes light up when they spend time with them. I am so blessed to have a mother in law and father in law who love my children unconditionally. We are ALL truly blessed!

A Day to Play

James gets bored very easily when he is  here by himself. Since he is quite a bit like his father, it is NEVER a good thing when that child gets bored! So, after he gets through with his school work for the day we get to go outside and play. Well, I guess I should back up a bit and tell you the story behind the "bubble wand". James bought 2 bubble wands with his money at the beginning of the summer. The first wand didn't last very long because he wanted to see what would happen if he shook it up and then through the bubble liquid into the air---you guessed it, a mess happened!! He was aggravated because it didn't work and refused to open the second bubble wand. Well, he was helping me clean out my desk and he found the last bubble wand in the drawer and asked if he could have it. Of course I reminded him of what he did last time and he informed me that he was "older" now and knew what to do with them. The following pictures are of him with his bubbles. I am also adding a picture or two of Orion zoning out in front of the computer....just because!

This is Seamus the wonder dog. He got sleepy, found his pillow in the chair and decided to "sneak" into the chair and go unnoticed.

I'm still learning to use the new camera....so bear with me :-)

The boys were super excited about the MSU vs UAB game! The were decked out in their MSU t-shirts and were ready to watch!

Trip to the Pumpkin "patch"

...and we are back!!!

Thanks to my sweet mother in law, Liz, for loaning me one of her awesome cameras! I now can keep my blog rolling along! I have attached some new pictures of my little ones! We took them to a pumpkin "patch" at the Methodist church in Luverne today. Also, I surprised them and took them to the playground to play. Little did they know that I was just looking for ANY opportunity to photograph them playing! Enjoy the pictures!

A Day at the Park

This weekend was so pretty that we didn't want to stay in the house! We spent the majority of our weekend outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

James being cute! He jumped on the couch and hid behind the pillows and then popped up and posed for me!

Ian decided to cooperate and give me a great smile :)
