Just Another Pretty Day.

It was so nice outside yesterday afternoon. As the boys get older, they are allowing me to take more pictures of them. This might seem backwards to some of you but its true! I'll take their cooperation any day....did I mention that they cooperated just to get new profile pictures for their facebook pages...oh well! LOL

Steven almost never lets me take pictures of him so I was very honored when he gave me the "go ahead"

My second rose of the year. While I was on bed rest this weekend with a torn muscle Steven picked the first rose and brought it to me ") He's so sweet!!!

Their version of  sitting still for a picture! Although I must confess that I had to say "oh well, I guess I am going to have to call MawMaw and tell her that you  three wouldn't play nice so I couldn't post any pictures for her to see". It's amazing how well that works!

I'm Trying....

It seems like every time I get on a roll posting new entries to my blog something happens to get me side tracked. I tore a muscle in my leg this past week and was put on bed rest by my husband and three sons. My boys are so sweet to me. Steven would supervise while they worked to fix small meals for me and I was always served on the tray that Orion built me last year. It's amazing how three kids who will have a knock down drag out because the other brother's breathing is annoying him (this seriously happened, can come together and be so sweet when the situation calls for it. I love those boys and my wonderful husband! So, this afternoon I will get back into the groove of posting pictures of my kiddos!

Orion: the ammo tester

Steven has been reloading new ammo all week and today just happened to be "testing" day. He, of course, tested it first before allowing our sons near it. Orion did a pretty good job of test firing the Vacquero. As you can tell, James was prepared with ear protection but wasn't really interested in shooting anything :) I don't know if you can tell from the picture but James is  on the trampoline and I had to take the picture through the mesh enclosure.

Wow! What a Busy Afternoon We've had!

Most afternoons are very uneventful, the kids get a snack, do homework, go outside and play, eat dinner, do the bath thing, watch tv for a bit then it's bed time. This afternoon, we all went on a nature walk in the woods behind out house. After dinner Steven and Ian did some reloading. It may not sound like much but we haven't had many "get outside days" in the last month so this was a treat!

Ok, so I can't remember which of the following pictures that I've posted and which I haven't. If they are duplicates just over look them :) I have finally figured out where some of our pictures hid on our Mac after they were moved from our Dell. Just because I am so freakin tickled that I found the flippin things (with Steven's help) I am doing a sort of flash back post..this may or may not take up two postings LOL

It's so hilarious to see how well cousins get along when they haven't seen each other vary much.

I get in trouble for posting pictures of all of my other family and always seem to forget to attach a picture of myself....thank goodness part of it is dark...maybe it won't scare  you all as bad! LOL

Everyone wonders who James looks like....it truly does scare me how much like his Dad he looks...and worse, he acts just like him!
